Having our heart fixed on Jesus.
Colossians 3:2-3 ‘Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.’
Christianity is new life.
If we try to live the Christian life in our own strength,
we will fail.
When our heart is fixed on Jesus
and all He has done for us
then we can live in the freedom of new life.
All that we were is crucified with Christ;
all that we are is in Him.
He gave His life for us so we can be His people.
In Christ we are the family of God;
children of the King.
It is because Christ lives in us that we can live for Him
and glorify Him in our everyday life.
