Faith and love.
Ephesians 3:17 ‘That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,’
Faith will open our hearts to Christ;
His love in us will ensure that Christ alone
is seated on the throne of our life.
If we love the scriptures more than Christ
then the scriptures will fill our heads
but Christ will not dwell in our hearts.
Scripture will produce growth
if we allow the Holy Spirit to implant His word upon our heart.
Faith will lead us into a deeper relationship with Christ;
it will bring us into a life of trust
and reliance upon the promises of God;
and the depth of our faith will be seen by our obedience to His will.
