Righteousness; self control; judgment to come.
Acts 24:25 ‘And as he reasoned of righteousness, self control, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go your way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for you.’
Righteousness is through faith in Jesus Christ.
Self control is the fruit of Spirit.
It is the life of Christ growing in us
producing fruit that will keep us from the deceitfulness of sin.
Judgment to come is the destination of the road without a Saviour.
Jesus Christ was judged on our behalf
so that we can pass from judgment into new life.
If we receive the wonderful free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ
then we need never fear judgment.
If we reject the gift of God then we must carry our sin alone.
