His word is our need.
Matthew 22:29 ‘Jesus answered and said unto them, You do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.’
His word is our need.
We neglect the word of God at our peril.
If we truly love Christ, we will love His word.
The scriptures brings life, freedom, cleansing, spiritual food, and guidance.
They will make us steadfast in the faith;
strengthen us in our Christian life;
and equip us for every situation and circumstance.
They will build us up in the knowledge of who we are in Christ
and all He has done for us.
The scriptures will cut into the heart
and reveal the hidden things of our life.
They will fill us with joy even in hard times
by assuring us of the promises of God.
