What we look for will determine how we live.
Hebrews 11:10 ‘For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.’
What we look for will determine how we live.
If we desire the pleasure that sin has to offer
then our heart will soon be turned away
from the desire to know and understand scripture.
If we covet the prosperity of the world
then it will rob us of our love for Christ.
If we desire the honours and privileges of the world
then we will soon become ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
If we desire Christ above all other
then nothing will ever turn our heart from Him;
and our one concern will be to do His will.
