We have certainty; boldness; and confidence.
2 Corinthians 3:12 ‘Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:’
The gospel does not need to hide behind words;
nor does it need the pretence of pomp and ceremony.
The gospel of Christ is truth.
The evidence of the gospel can be seen by its power
that works in the lives of those who trust in Jesus.
There is no confusion in the gospel.
We have certainty; boldness; and confidence.
Certainty because we have received new life;
boldness because the Holy Spirit gives full assurance of faith;
and confidence because we know through experience
that what the Lord has promised He will fulfil.
