Scripture is only words until the light of the gospel shines within us.
2 Peter 1:19 ‘We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:’
Scripture is only words until the light of the gospel shines within us.
Our eyes must be opened so the words can come alive in our heart,
and theory becomes our living experience.
It is like the day dawning so we can enter into the reality of scripture.
We may know that we are a new creation in Christ;
the temple of the Holy Spirit;
the dwelling place of the living God;
but when the reality of this truth burns within us
then it will revolutionise our life.
