Unity does not begin with discussion; it begins with new life.
John 17:21 ‘That they all may be one; as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us:’
Unity does not begin with discussion; it begins with new life.
The prayer of Jesus for unity could only be answered through His death.
Unity must be preceded by separation.
He died for us so we can be separated from sin
and united together by His resurrected life.
His life unites us with one another.
We do not produce unity; we are one body in Christ.
We are to keep the unity we already have.
Unity in Christ will produce in us the desire for fellowship;
the desire to be built up together in His word;
and the desire to serve Him more.
